Analiza nastrojów w sieciach społecznych [Sentiment analysis in social networks] Van Hieu Bui (Doctoral School - Computer Science, PWr, Wrocław) Sentiment analysis has been one of the most active areas of research in Natural Language Processing since the early 2000s. The objective of sentiment analysis is to develop automatic tools capable of extracting subjective information such as opinions and sentiments from natural language texts, and then creating structured and actionable knowledge that can be used by a decision support system or a decision maker. Depending on the dataset and the purpose, sentiment classification can be binary (positive or negative), ternary (positive, negative, or neutral), or consist of even more classes. This talk provides an overview of sentiment analysis in social networks, including methods, examples, applications, challenges, and future research directions in sentiment analysis.
