Metody analizy systemów złożonych - osobisty punkt widzenia [Data-intensive methods for complex systems analysis - a personal perspective] Michael Bussmann (CASUS, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Germany) Complex systems have been under investigation for more than 50 years as an interdisciplinary subject. Similar to the revitalization of Machine Learning driven by huge amounts of high quality data and affordable hardware, the understanding of complex systems is driven by massive amounts of scientific data coming from both measurement and simulation. Many scientific disciplines face similar challenges in extracting knowledge from these data. We want to show how this development can be understood as a new kind of movement towards data-intensive complex systems understanding.
