Social media have become an unavoidable part of our life. However, it has 
been found that academics and professionals have profiles on platforms 
such as Facebook and LinkedIn, but to no direct benefit in their careers. 
There are several simple, yet neglected factors that can help them in 
today's information era. When effectively utilized, they can aid in one's 
overall development. This seminar is about identifying and utilizing 
these factors and provides guidelines of what they should and shouldn't 
do on social media, along with effective content creation.
