[Computational intelligence and digital signal processing applied to problem solving 
in industry]

The application of new models of computational intelligence combined with the notion 
of digital signal processing allows us to obtain considerable advantages in solving 
problems of modeling, forecasting, optimization, and control of complex systems found 
in industrial environments. The objective of this research talk is to discuss notions 
in the area of computational intelligence and its main components, providing the 
current practical experience of its applications in recent projects with corporations 
in the railway, nuclear, manufacturing, energy, and aeronautical sectors.
