Możliwości współpracy badawczej w obszarze zastosowania technologii bliźniaka cyfrowego w zadaniach charakterystycznych dla smart city [Exploring opportunities for research collaboration in digital twin technology for smart city applications] Maciej Pondel (Department of Business Intelligence in Management, UE Wrocław) The field of digital twin technology is rapidly advancing and holds significant potential for smart city applications, particularly in infrastructure management, EV charger management, and energy consumption forecasting. However, despite its promise, there are still considerable research gaps in these areas, such as the need for greater attention to social and environmental sustainability. This presentation will identify research gaps and explore opportunities for collaboration to overcome the challenges in the following areas: - Digital twin technology in smart city applications - Digital twin technology in EV charger management - Forecasting of gas energy consumption and detection of gas leaks We will discuss potential research questions and methodologies for joint research projects on digital twin technology for smart city applications, with a focus on EV charger management and energy consumption forecasting. In addition, we will outline the potential benefits of collaborative research, such as sharing resources, data, and expertise. The overall goal of this presentation is to spark discussions and encourage cooperation among researchers interested in advancing digital twin technology for smart city applications.
