[Opening and filling Pandora's box - addressing agent-based simulation challenges]

Developing reliable agent-based simulation models for, e.g., policy makers requires 
grounding of the agents and their interaction in relevant theories and conceptual models, 
as well as, in relevant empirical data. In different collaborations I have worked on some 
of these aspects and will focus on two in particular:
(i) a contextual action framework for computational agents trying to encompass different 
decision-making models and theories, and
(ii) conventional and unconventional ways of gathering empirical data.
Following this, I will focus on different ways games and agent-based models can enhance 
each other in such conquests.
