About
Katarzyna Maciejowska is Professor at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. She has graduated Warsaw School of Economics and defended her PhD thesis at European University Institute in Florence. In 2024, she obtained habilitation in Economics at Warsaw School of Economics. Her research interests focus on time series modeling and forecasting. She has published in various international journals, such as Energy Policy, Energy Economy, International Journal of Forecasting or Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. She has been awarded two international scholarships for outstanding young researchers: EUI (Italy) and CERGE-EI (Czech Republic). She has been a leader of two national NCN grants, which investigate possibilities of short term forecasting of electricity prices.
